You can download your divorce petition, check for any discrepancies and sign where indicated.
Your spouse will receive an acknowledgment form from the court directly, which they need to complete, sign and return to the court.
The court will consider the papers and issue a certificate which tells you when the decree nisi will be pronounced at court.
6 weeks and one day after the pronouncement of your decree nisi, you can send your decree absolute application to the court to finalise your divorce.

You now post the divorce petition with copies to the court with the court fee.
You will need to download your application for decree nisi, and affidavit in support. You then need to take this to either a solicitor or to the court office where you swear on oath that your details are true.
The court will grant your decree nisi and send it both parties by post
